Greta Zeit

Greta Zeit is a Diaspora Jew who, as the host of the Backyard Garden Oasis Bed and Breakfast in Middletown, CA, had the pleasure to meet Jack Berriault in 2003, when TIPP was more a vision for the future than a reality in the present. She became enlisted in the work and mission of TIPP, and has served on the Leadership Team for several years.

When she was introduced to the internet in 1997, she realized that this could be the medium which people could use to communicate with one another across the world and beyond the limitations of governments, politics and language. She is currently working with the TIPP Leadership Team to harness the potential of social networking media to facilitate the dissemination and conversation of the Common Narrative.

Greta received her BS in Biology from CCNY, attended Goucher College, More University, Harbin Hot Springs School of Shiatsu and Massage, and Massage Therapy Institute. She worked in Restaurant Management before building and creating the Backyard Garden Oasis Bed and Breakfast, which she has managed for the past 15 years. She is a Certified Massage Therapist with a private practice at the B&B.

She is the proud mother of two beautiful, accomplished daughters and two perfect grandsons! She lives at her Northern California Wine Country bed and breakfast with her cockatiel, Poco, and 2-year old Terrier mix, Rusty.
