Angela Horne

Angela Gabriela Horne, a native and resident of London, has an unusually diverse background. Currently an author, she was formerly a currency trader and banker in “The City”, London’s financial district, and a volunteer for Amnesty International, the British Red Cross, International Alert, and the New Economics Foundation.

In 2000, Angela took a personal development course at Landmark Education where she discovered her dream of writing a book that could heal and transform the world. She left her banking career and began to write.

In June 2003, she heard, in a dream, the voice of a beautiful, majestic woman. Angela awoke at 1 AM and began writing the fictional story of a statue coming back to life. In November, the statue moved to San Francisco. Angela followed in May 2004 to find out why. She met Jack Berriault, The Israel Palestine Project’s Executive Director, during a personal development course in the San Francisco Bay Area and became inspired. Angela has continued her participation as a board member and volunteer writer for TIPP since her return to London in 2005.

Angela is presently completing her novel-memoir while working as an administrator for small to medium-sized enterprises. The great American author, John Steinbeck has advised, “Abandon the idea that you are ever going to finish. Lose track of the 400 pages and write one page for each day, it helps. Then when it gets finished, you are always surprised.”

Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Chemistry from the University of London. She is a fluent speaker in her mother’s native language, Italian.
